Project Description

Due to the ongoing war and blockade conditions since October 7, 2024,

displaced families in Khan Younis have been facing severe difficulties,

including lack of clean water, unsafe shelter, and poor sanitation

facilities.

With limited aid entering and growing health risks, families have

struggled to maintain basic hygiene and protect themselves from

disease.

Many live in temporary tents without safe water, sufficient sanitation, or

adequate protection against the elements, leaving children, the elderly,

and persons with disabilities especially vulnerable.

To address these urgent needs, our project provided clean drinking

water to more than 300 families, hygiene kits to families, and

rehabilitated shelters for over families. In addition, more than 10

families benefited from the construction of emergency toilets, giving

them safe and dignified sanitation facilities.

These interventions helped reduce health risks, improve hygiene

practices, and restore a sense of security and dignity for displaced

households.

By meeting immediate needs in water, sanitation, and shelter, the

project directly improved the well-being of hundreds of families,

reflecting our ongoing commitment to stand with the most vulnerable in

Gaza.
