Promoting Entrepreneurship Among Marginalized Youth
Project Description
Supporting youth to achieve economic independence, building their
capacity to meet challenges, and facilitating the transition to the labor
market by improving skills and competencies among Palestinian youth
through training activities.
Project objectives:
This project is currently contributing to supporting Palestinian youth in
places of displacement in the southern and central Gaza Strip in
achieving economic independence and building their resilience by:
1. providing 150 unemployed Palestinian youth with training in market
skills (material and difficult(
2. developing handicrafts and technical/vocational skills,
3. increasing awareness of entrepreneurship as a career option,
4. Helping individuals exchange ideas and focus on a viable business
idea,
5. Providing input into developing business plans,
6. Providing a set of skills necessary to form a successful entrepreneur.
